To join us is more siple, we are in Poticalazzo Street, few Km. from Trapani and Paceco (a little town near Trapani) see the map on the right.

If You come from Freeway A29 (Palermo-Trapani), when you see the rotunda, therefore the end of freeway, turn on left and continue for some km. on the street to Salemi, You meet some guideliness that lead to our estate.

rapani is a town of the nordoccidental Sicily and province capital and it rises part on a long and narrow headland and part on a plain dominated by the mount "ERICE". The Town developped since 1282 when it became island aragonese datum point. Here flourished many business, salt, tuna fish and precious manufactoring exported in all the world at the time knowed.
Deeply bombed out during the II^ world war, the old part of the city still offers an enchanting historical, artistic and cultural itineraries with its monuments made in Renaissance, gothic style, baroque and liberty style.
Recurring Events :

Trapani Mistery: Every year, on good friday there is an imposing procession composed of 18 "Holy groups" made of wood, cloth and glue, figuring jesus passion. The procession crosses for 24 hours the street of the town, involving men, children and women of all class and social condition. The "Mistery of Trapani" is a religious procession, but it is also economical and social life style expression of the town.


THE MATTANZA: It is a Tuna fish fishing ritual, that have place in May and June on the Egadi Islands sea water.

Typical dish of the town is "Trapanese Sauce", delicious harmony of colours and flavours, but the undiscussed protagonist of delicious dishes and cookery tradition, is FISH, cooked in many way: by the common fish-soup, to the "couscous" or a tasty fishes grilled or a fried fish. To may concern sweets you can taste the famous "Sicilian cake", Cannoli, Sfinge, Marzapan sweets, "Genovesi" and typical cookies of Erice "Mustaccioli".
